It looks like Dries Van Noten really turns his head for this A/W collection. “Rave and Renaissance” is underline keyword for this season. For this collection, Dries Van Noten really did his proper research. In preparation, he went to back museum’s archives, studied history, and draws quite a lot looks, while he produce his exhibition at Musée des Arts  Décoratifs in Paris. Then, he looks at different type of materials, layers, and fabrics to make a good starting point of this epic A/W collection. The most outrageous part was the finale when he presents group of tonal colour like pink, blue, yellow, and green. It was such a thoughtful collection and surely does entertain the audiences. Everything was choreographing perfectly right in the moment. He presents very bright, bold, and beautiful armies. The real strength of this collection definitely is the power of simplicity. The collection does show what the market wants straight to the point, items like oversized sweater with parkas, as well as the bombers that suggested military look. Dries Van Noten obviously never fails its audience. The best pick is absolutely the long oversized blue parka jacket that can be our closest pair for this rainy season. (Text Dinta Jakile)
