After the success of their debut collection of wilderness jungle, this duo New Yorker never fails to please the audience. For Kenzo, this fall is about the journey of the Sky and its universe. The inspiration comes from their travelling moments while they stare to the window and enjoying the view from the top. The designers were telling a story castle in the sky to emphasize romantic side of Kenzo Takada.
The highlights of this fall collection can be shown from the use of new fabrics such as technical nylon, which were specially developed for the collection. This future looking fabric supports the innovation of this fall silhouette like A-line coats, tapered pants, and round-shouldered sweaters that makes this collection looks so interesting. Both Leon and Lim want to show the powerful feeling by presenting super hero silhouettes. So pretty much in this collection Kenzo was exposing power and protection by adding accessories and detailing such as bulletproof backpacks, metal pocket squares and button coverings.
