Rise: Jean Gritsfeldt

The Ukranian based designer Jean Gritsfeldt has presenting a very unique yet thoughtful collection. The collection titled Divine Caviar that represents the idea of human being is the God’s creation as his divine caviar, this collection was presented at Ukrainian Fashion Week 2013 Kiev Pret a Porter. Inspired by the idea of what Gritsfeld’s portray both an ideal man and woman through his perspectives who experience the phenomenon of global warming on the Earth, animalistic, and floral forms, delicacies, Venus flytraps. Divine Caviar speaks each of its pieces to their audience through the perfection of its looks. Gritsfeld’s emphasize this perfection by using the silhouette complex cutting that looks very fresh and flowing. The use of leather and velvet texture creates some contrast in perfection of soft and animalistic image. He also added metal accessories to combine them with an ironical ornaments that can represents a self- confidence as an individual. Interesting colors that Gritsfeld’s use for this fall winter that makes each of the look very vibrant and alive. Salute to Jean Gritsfeld!
