Complexity was an understatement behind this season Comme des Garcons show. The runways was really packed, compact, and tight. This was to emphasize the quality of Comme des garcons clothing. As details appears to be very decorative shown from the bows, the thick, the rosettes, the rounded, the shapes, and so on. In this collection, the pattern cutting was going very deep into detail and creates a sense of loosely tailoring. Like what we know that Kawakubo’s a believer in creation through the language of fashion. This fall, she really is showing the talent especially in transforming “the brand” into a whole different universe. By presenting this basic idea through the beauty of tailoring with a twist of ornamental details does really show off what Kawakubo’s capable off. Salute to Comme des Garcons! (Text Dinta Jakile)
