Continuing her long-standing relationship with Opening Ceremony, our favourite NYC gal Chloë Sevigny once again stars in the “Heartbreaker” editorial for the latest collaboration with the brand. This time she takes us on a trip in high school times. In a range of black-and-white photos shot by David Perez Shadi, the actress brings back the nostalgia of ‘90s teen romance as she poses effortlessly in her spring collection, in everything from plaid skirts and platform shoes to striped shirts. A bit nostalgic, a bit high school.
A source of inspiration for the line was way nineties cult film Heathers with Winona Ryder. True to Heathers’ 90s high school look, the range is all about preppy and for a moment, between every pinstripe and ruffle, every school-girl obsession was restored.
