Miharayasuhiro Spring 2017 Menswear

Miharayasuhiro Spring 2017 MenswearThere was a streetwear approach to the rampant branding and additional to references to iconic American personalities as James Dean at Miharayasuhiro Spring 2017 Menswear Collection.

Making its London debut was MIHARAYASUHIRO, a label known for its daring use of textiles and distinct flair which has firmly established the Japanese designer as one of the industry’s household names.

The designer’s “NO CLUB LONE WOLF” collection lived up to its high expectations, demonstrating once again his ability to successfully merge an eclectic variety of styles into one cohesive range. Yet the Japanese designer took an experimental approach, cross-breeding dungarees with khakis for jarring, extremely asymmetric pants and extending bowling shirts into robelike dusters.

Some of the most obvious influences included riffs on cowboy and biker styles, and additional to references to iconic American personalities such as Elvis Presley and James Dean. Yasuhiro very literally explored the DIY USA style of the teenagers in this collection, as were the bowling shirts, hand-daubed denim, or souvenir jackets were among the womenswear highlights in a collection whose rigorous fabrication was matched by its imaginative richness.
