Rodarte's First Film 'Woodshock' Stars Kirsten DunstRodarte’s first film ‘Woodshock’ stars Kirsten Dunst. The haunting cinematic thriller marks the arrival of the Mulleavy siblings as a major new voice in film.

Otherworldly, trippy and ethereal are the first things that come to mind when you watch the newly unveiled trailer of Woodshock, that marks a directorial debut of Rodarte fashion designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy. The trailer that looks more like a teaser, more evocative than revealing, shows us stunning visuals that stars Kirsten Dunst as Theresa, a haunted young women spiraling in the wake of profound loss, torn between her fractured emotional state and the reality-altering effects of potent cannabinoid substance that she took to cope with her emotion. The visual is hauntingly beautiful as Dunst hallucinates throughout the one minute trailer, left us nothing but wonder which one is the reality, that explains the true meaning of the movie that Woodshock is a hypnotic exploration of isolation, paranoia and grief that exist in a dream-world all its own.

Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte successfully bringing their philosophy of their brain-child to the movie without overpowering it. Their fashion presentation is always spellbindingly beautiful and never conventional and the brand is always focused on telling a story through the design and we cannot wait to see how they deliver it to the big screen. Woodshock opens in theater on September 15, 2017, meanwhile check the trailer below:
