Meet Caro, the New Dior ‘It’ Bag. Elegant, tactile and perfect for every occasion, Dior’s new ‘Caro’ bag is finally here.
For Dior’s 2021 Cruise collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri dives deep into her roots to seek inspiration for the collection. The Creative Director takes essences from the delicate art of traditional Italian crafts and interprets them into her vision of Dior. Although embroidery and weaving can be seen in the gowns and flowy skirts of the presentation, the same amount of detailing and craftsmanship can also be seen in the collection’s bags and accessories, with the new Caro handbag being a definite scene-stealer.

The Dior Caro is as chic and sophisticated as it is tactile and compact. Featuring a classic, rectangular, flap-bag silhouette that never goes out of style, the bag crafted in supple leather comes in a variety of timeless colors including black, gray, sky blue and mint green. At a closer look, you can see the signature cannage motif throughout all sides of the Caro, giving it that signature Dior touch of elegance. The “CD” signature is also imprinted onto the links of the chain that comes along with the bag, perfectly echoing the clasp at the front of the bag, another example of how the house is taking their detailed crafting on another level.
