A glimpse about an upcoming movie, Beautiful Boy. The Timothée Chalamet fever from “Call Me By Your Name” has not been over yet, especially for the young from all over the world, but wait for it…

“Beautiful Boy” is a memoir about a father and son relationship between David Sheff (Steve Carell) and Nic Sheff (Timothée Chalamet) where David helps Nic to battle his meth addiction. Directed and screenplay by Felix Van Groeningen, this film is originally based on the same title book “Beautiful Boy: A Father’s Journey Through His Son’s Addiction by David Sheff” and “Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines” by the son, Nic Sheff. A journey that many fathers have experienced; the success, the failure, and the losses, many sons understood, many mothers and sisters evidenced, and many parents should learn.

Set on the United States, Steve Carell, and Timothée Chalamet bring a striking performance in this movie; first, who does not love Comedian plays a serious role? We surely adore Carell performance in “Foxcathcer”, second, Chalamet is told to lose his weight to portray a real drug addict, and he lost twenty pounds for this role and managed to stay sane. This movie is brought by Amazon Studio, and please hold, do not weep!

To be released in October 2018, “Beautiful Boy” is also starring Maura Tierney and Amy Ryan.
