LIZA THORN
Liza Thorn is one half of formidable psych-rock duo Starred, but she’s also a Hedi Slimane obsessive. The obsession is reciprocated though. The rebellious icon-in-the-making was an inspiration for Slimane’s SS13 LA grunge collection and her band’s heartbreak hit “Call from Paris” was used on Hedi’s website when it first launched. Though she has been touted as a fashion figure, Thorn is mostly concerned with talking about rock music and the importance of making it.
